Another trialist features in QPR Under-23 game

Midfielder Henry Ochieng is the latest youngster to have been granted a trial by QPR.

The 19-year-old, who recently left Leyton Orient, is looking for a new club and played for Rangers’ development side in a match against Nottingham Forest on Monday afternoon.

Ochieng was with West Ham before joining Orient in the summer of 2016. He made 11 league appearances for the O’s.

Monday’s game at QPR’s Harlington training ground ended in a 2-2 draw and included four penalties – three of which were missed.

Kingsley Eshun put the home side and, after Forest equalised, R’s keeper Marcin Brzozowski saved the game’s first spot-kick.

QPR’s Charlie Owens blasted over the second penalty and the visitors went ahead before Chay Tilt’s penalty made it 2-2.

But when Tilt stepped up to take another penalty, in injury time, his kick was saved.
