Taarabt set to feature against Sunderland

Adel Taarabt is set to make his Premier League return for QPR against Sunderland on Saturday.

Rangers, reeling from the news that popular midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has suffered cruciate knee ligament damage for the third time in as many years, need to get their season up and running after a dismal start.

And manager Harry Redknapp is ready to turn to Taarabt, who played in the midweek Capital One Cup defeat at Burton – the Moroccan’s first appearance for Rangers since May 2013.

“He’s a fantastic talent and was our best player the other night. He did ever so well and will be involved tomorrow,” Redknapp confirmed.

  • As a Q.P.R. supporter I truly hope that Adel Taarabt can prove to all those people who doubt his talent ; that he can play against the best & show his amazing natural ability on a weekly basis. Without doubt he has so much to offer football if he is in the right frame of mind. He can change a game in seconds. He can be lazy at times ; but I would have him playing in my team every time. Yes you could say he's a luxury player to have in your team ; but his skills shade any doubt's away. Neil Warnock got the best out of him whilst he was our manager. Maybe the new Crystal Palace manager might may a surprise move for him before transfer deadline ?
