Austin credited with goal against Blackburn

Charlie Austin has been credited with QPR’s first goal in their recent 2-2 draw with Blackburn.

It was initially recorded as an own goal by Adam Henley as Austin’s shot from an acute angle struck the Rovers defender before going in. [phone][/phone]

However, the Football League’s dubious goals committee decided that the goal should be awarded to Austin.

It takes the Rangers striker’s tally for the season to seven in eight league appearances.
