QPR v Birmingham line-ups: Youngsters play, Tilt on bench

Ilias Chair has been included in the QPR starting line-up for the game at Loftus Road, as has goalkeeper Joe Lumley, who makes his home debut.

Lumley and Belgian midfielder Chair are given a chance to impress along with Ebere Eze, who starts too. And there is a place on the bench for another youngster, Chay Tilt.

There is no Jack Robinson and Nedum Onuoha is a substitute, so Jake Bidwell is set to operate as a left-sided centre-back with Ryan Manning at full-back. Josh Scowen is Rangers’ captain.

Jamie Mackie, who will leave the club this summer along with Onuoha, is also on the bench and is expected to feature at some stage.

Birmingham midfielder Craig Gardner, who has been nursing a rib injury, is among the visitors’ substitutes.

QPR: Lumley, Kakay, Furlong, Bidwell, Manning, Chair, Scowen, Freeman, Eze, Osayi-Samuel, Sylla.
