QPR recall Gladwin ahead of cup clash

Ben Gladwin of QPR

Ben Gladwin will play for QPR in Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest after being recalled from his loan spell at Swindon Town.

The 24-year-old, who was signed from the Robins along with Massimo Luongo last summer, returned to the County Ground after being unable to establish himself in Rangers’ first team.

His exit came after West London Sport revealed that Gladwin was unhappy at being overlooked and planned talks with the then Rangers head coach Chris Ramsey to seek a loan move.

He will, however, get a chance to show what he can do this weekend at the City Ground – where QPR have never won.

Gladwin has made 13 appearances for Swindon this season, scoring two goals.
