Mackie remains sidelined with groin problem

QPR forward Jamie Mackie has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against his former club Nottingham Forest.

The 29-year-old, who left the City Ground during the summer to return for second spell with the R’s, is still recovering from a groin problem.

He has not featured since the 2-0 defeat at Charlton on the opening day of the season.

Mackie hoped to return to action this weekend but is now hoping to be in the squad for next Wednesday’s game at home to Blackburn.

Meanwhile, Yun Suk-Young could be back in the Rangers squad for the Forest game having recovered from a knee injury.
