Faurlin hoping to be fit for Fulham game

Alejandro Faurlin is optimistic he will be available for QPR’s derby against Fulham despite an ongoing thigh problem.

The midfielder came off during the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Ipswich – a match he played in after coming through a fitness test.

Rangers are hopeful he will be able to train fully later this week and join the squad for this weekend’s game at Loftus Road.

Faurlin told QPR’s website: “I came off against Ipswich as a precaution. My aim is to be fit for Saturday.

“The gaffer is not going to be happy because probably I will have to miss some training, but I will hopefully be ready.”

Meanwhile, QPR have agreed to extend Darnell Furlong’s loan spell at Cambridge United.

  • Hi Derek

So do you think Henry, Luongo and Toszer are the future??????

I would not let them polish Ale's boots. Worst midfield display I have EVER seen at Loftus Road!!!

Let Faurlin get a full season on the pitch and I think you will have to eat your words!!!

Ken and yes Ranger till I die, which I almost did on Saturday of EMBARESMENT!!!
