QPR’s Yun ruled out of Aston Villa game

Yun Suk-Young has been ruled out of QPR’s vital game against fellow strugglers Aston Villa.

The left-back suffered a knock to the head during his team’s 4-1 win against West Brom and will not feature in Tuesday’s match.

Rangers are hoping that Armand Traore will join the squad but he has been nursing a calf problem, so Clint Hill currently looks likely to play.

Eduardo Vargas will also miss out, having suffered knee injury at West Brom.

Chilean forward Vargas was initially due to have a scan on Sunday but is still waiting for the swelling around the affected area to ease so that his condition can be properly assessed.

Rangers are one off the bottom of the table but Saturday’s victory gave them renewed hope of avoiding relegation.

A win at Villa would take them above Tim Sherwood’s side, who currently sit just above  the drop zone.
