QPR U-21s lose against Blades

QPR’s development side began their season with a defeat 3-0 at Sheffield United on Monday afternoon.

Jamie McDonagh scored two of the Blades’ goals and the other came from a penalty by Ben Whiteman. All of the goals came in the first half.

Axel Prohouly, Rangers’ summer signing from Monaco, featured for Paul Hall’s team as a second-half substitute.

They are next in action next Monday, when they will be at home to Huddersfield Town.
