QPR needed Henry’s experience – Hasselbaink

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said he felt QPR needed Karl Henry’s experience against Burnley.

Rangers drew 0-0 at Loftus Road in Hasselbaink’s first match since taking over as manager.

The Dutchman deployed Henry on the right flank, dropping youngster Michael Petrasso.

“It was tactical. I spoke to Michael and I had to make a choice for the bench,” Hasselbaink explained.

“I was always going to start with Karl Henry on the right because of Burnley and because I needed a bit more experience in midfield.”

  • Everyone Seems to play 'Henry', wonder why? He must be doing something right to keep him in the side. As fans we don't see what happens in the week but fans seem to be experts these day of course.
Hope Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink doesn't endure the same bulls**t from the fans that Ramsey didn't deserve. Shameless!
