Amos plays in QPR Under-23 game

QPR: Luke Amos is on loan from Tottenham

Luke Amos made another appearance for QPR’s Under-23 side on Tuesday afternoon.

The midfielder featured for the team last week and he continued his comeback by playing an hour of a match against Barnsley at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

The visitors won 2-1. The home side’s goal was scored by striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale, who has rejoined the club on trial, having spent time with Rangers last season.

Amos was sidelined by a long-term knee injury he suffered in an away match against Bournemouth last October.

It was the second time he has suffered cruciate ligament damage during his career – he was out for nearly a year prior to joining QPR on loan from Tottenham in 2019.

Taylor-Crossdale, 21, is a free agent having been released by Fulham, who signed him from Chelsea in 2019.
