QPR face further delay over Warren Farm after objectors lodge another appeal

QPR face a further delay to the proposed building of a training ground at Warren Farm after objectors lodged another appeal.

A judicial review by the Court of Appeal recently found in favour of Ealing Council’s original decision to grant planning permission.

Objectors had 28 days to appeal against QPR’s latest legal victory in the six-year battle over the future of the Southall site.

And an appeal has been lodged, meaning the issue is now set to be referred to the Supreme Court.

  • My understanding is there are Brentford fans within their numbers. Apparently there has been the odd tweet of "Come on you Bee's" on the SWF Twitter account. Whether their motives are football related or not is unknown.

The have lost at every turn and yet use the law to keep pushing it as far as they can. This could end up very costly to them but if they have the money to cover it I guess all they'll get is perverse satisfaction they've delayed things for 5- years.

    All a bit sad really.

  • I know this people they are about 5 very rich dog owners leaving on the other side of Boston Manor

  • What a pointless waste of everyone's time. Warren Farm is a scruffy barely used dog walking site at best and the QPR plan will bring community facilities and improve the whole area. These people need to find better battles to fight.

  • Who are Save Warren Farm exactly? Some rumours have them down as being Brentford fans who don't want us encroaching on ''their'' territory. Anyone know?
