Some of the recent transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs as the deadline approaches…
It’s claimed QPR are weighing up a move for Scunthorpe midfielder Funso Ojo.
Rangers are severely hampered by financial constraints, but the Mirror claim they are among three Championship clubs keen on Ojo.
Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are also said to be considering moving for him.
Speculation over Cairney
West Ham have told Fulham they are willing to pay £20m for Tom Cairney, The Sun claim.
The Sun say Fulham have rejected a £15m bid for Cairney and want £30m for him.
It comes after the Mail claimed Fulham are lining up QPR playmaker Luke Freeman as a potential replacement for Cairney.
According to the Mail, Freeman is rated at £4m by QPR and has been identified by Fulham as a possible signing.
Boro linked with Cousins
Middlesbrough are interested in Jordan Cousins, the Mail also say.
The Mail say “financial concerns” could mean QPR would be willing to sell the midfielder for around £1m.
Rangers are open to offers for players ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
Wszolek linked with move
Reports in Pawel Wszolek’s native Poland say Legia Warsaw are looking to sign the winger from QPR.
Wszolek moved to Loftus Road on a permanent deal a year ago after impressing while on loan.
Legia Warsaw, who sold his compatriot Ariel Borysiuk to QPR in 2016, have been made aware of Borysiuk’s availability as the midfielder is not in R’s boss Ian Holloway’s plans.
Reports in Poland, however, say it is Wszolek the club are keen to sign.
