QPR’s Robinson to have fitness test

Jack Robinson will have a fitness test ahead of QPR’s game against Nottingham Forest.

Rangers were hopeful the defender would be fit enough to play against Sheffield United in midweek, but Robinson failed to recover from a toe injury in time.

Robinson, who has been outstanding for Ian Holloway’s side this season, suffered the injury against Bolton on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Holloway has told QPR’s website his side are well prepared for Saturday’s match and want revenge for their defeat against Forest earlier this season.

Rangers were beaten 4-0 at the City Ground – where they have never won.

And boss Holloway says he is keen for them to atone for that thrashing at Loftus Road this weekend.

“They beat us heavily at their place and that result still hurts me deeply, it really does,” Holloway said.

“Revenge is in my mind, of course, it is – but learning from what we got wrong at the City Ground is also in the forefront of my thoughts. We started well up there, but then got a lot wrong.

“But they’ve got a new manager now and they’re playing in a slightly different way so we will need to do our homework and be ready.”

Ryan Manning is available again for Rangers after serving a suspension.
