Best plays for QPR in Brentford Under-21 win
Leon Best played for QPR’s development side and Samba Diakite missed a penalty in a match against Brentford on Monday afternoon.
Former Southampton and Newcastle striker Best, 28, a free agent after having his Blackburn cancelled by mutual consent earlier this summer, is training with the R’s this week.
The Bees won 3-0 at Rangers’ Harlington training ground with goals from Jan Holldack, Montell Moore and Jermaine Udumaga.[phone][/phone]
They were two up within 10 minutes after Holldack slotted home after exchanging passes with Udumaga and Moore doubled the lead with a fine solo goal.
Diakite then missed a chance to pull one back when his spot-kick was saved by keeper Jack Bonham.
Udumaga scored from 20 yards with 11 minutes of the game remaining.

LEON BEST is a striker who does not score goals. Check his record. Rangers want to save on wages….? don’t employ hopeless cheap individuals like Best. {supporter of 50 years standing]
