QPR players return for pre-season training

QPR players have returned for the start of pre-season training.

It is Steve McClaren’s first real chance to assess the squad following his appointment as manager.

McClaren told the club website he wanted “to see the mentality and see how they come back.”

Rangers have a new-look management team, with McClaren having replaced Ian Holloway and brought in John Eustace as his assistant and Matt Gardiner as a coach, with Marc Bircham leaving the club.

“I am delighted with how things have gone so far,” McClaren said.
