QPR have made an enquiry about former Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé.
The 30-year-old France international joined Lazio last year but is believed to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
He is one of a host of strikers Rangers have made approaches for as they look to sign a forward before next week’s transfer deadline.
At this stage it appears unlikely that he will move to Loftus Road, but further talks with Lazio are expected to take place next week.
Cissé was a Champions League winner during a two-year spell at Liverpool, who signed him from Auxerre in 2004.
He left Anfield for Marseille and spent the 2008/09 season back in England on loan at Sunderland, who declined to take up an option to sign him permamently.
Instead he signed for Greek club Panathinaikos, where he spent two seasons before moving to Italy.
