Eustace claims there are ‘positives to take’ for QPR

John Eustace claimed there were positives to emerge from QPR’s 4-0 hammering at Norwich.

Rangers were outplayed by the Championship leaders in one-sided game at Carrow Road.

They were two down within 12 minutes and three behind by half-time.

Eustace, placed in caretaker charge following this week’s sacking of Steve McClaren, said: “I was really disappointed with how we started the game. We gave away two sloppy goals.

“We were more competitive in the second half but at the moment we are low on confidence.

“But the subs that came on I thought made a difference for us and there’s positives to take out of the game for sure.”

Rangers have now lost 12 of their past 15 Championship matches and results elsewhere on Saturday dragged them closer to the relegation zone.

They are now just five points above the bottom three ahead of a crucial game against fellow strugglers Millwall.

“It’s important that we get together now, forget about the game today, we’ve got a massive game on Wednesday,” Eustace said.

  • If Mr Eustace thinks there were "positives" from the game I can only assume he means we were positively Not trying or commited.Again if he couldn't see what a pile of crap we were ,he is Not the man for our club and could even be part of the problem!.

  • The only positive is there are not too many games left to endure of this car crash of a season before the inevitability of relegation.
