Diakite not suffering from depression – QPR

QPR insist reports Samba Diakite is suffering from depression are inaccurate.

The midfielder, who was signed from Nancy earlier this year, recently returned to France for personal reasons.

Rangers say they hope Diakite will be available for selection again soon and that he is not suffering from depression.

“We hope he can overcome this very quickly and get back to being the outstanding player that he undoubtedly is,” QPR manager Mark Hughes said recently.

“In the meantime, we are giving him the time and help that he needs.”
