Diakite completes loan move to Watford

Watford have completed the signing of Samba Diakite on loan from QPR for the rest of the season.

The Mali midfielder, 25, has been overlooked by Rangers boss Harry Redknapp, who told West London Sport this morning that he expected the loan deal to go through.

Signed from Nancy in January 2012, Diakite has not made a league appearances this term.

Redknapp wants to sign Mo Diame but doubts he will be able to land the West Ham midfielder.
