Holloway hails ‘class act’ Caulker after QPR draw

Ian Holloway praised Steven Caulker after QPR’s draw at Barnsley.

Luke Freeman’s cracking goal rescued a point for Rangers at Oakwell, where Caulker returned to the starting line-up.

The defender was substituted in the second half but boss Holloway was happy with his performance and could include him again for Friday’s derby against Fulham.

“I’m really pleased with Steve tonight. It’s a magnificent 60 minutes he’s given us,” Holloway said.

“He looked a class act and hopefully he might be ready for Friday as well. It was impressive.”

Holloway felt Rangers deserved their point at the very least, having battled battled back after Harvey Barnes’ first-half goal.

“It was deserved and we could have won that game,” Holloway said.
