Cameron fit and QPR will assess Hemed

Geoff Cameron has been passed fit for the west London derby against Brentford but QPR will need to assess Tomer Hemed ahead of the game.

Both players missed Rangers’ defeat at Blackburn, where Cameron had hoped to return from a hamstring strain he picked up during the recent win against Aston Villa.

The on-loan Stoke midfielder has trained fully this week and is set to be included in the squad for this weekend’s game at Loftus Road.

Rangers are hoping he will be joined by on-loan Brighton striker Hemed.

Hemed has been named in Israel’s squad for their two internationals this month but continues to nurse a groin problem and will be monitored in training on Friday.

Brentford, meanwhile, will monitor Lewis Macleod, who has had a slight hamstring problem.
