Scan reveals Amos injury is not serious

QPR believe Luke Amos will be available again soon, after a scan on his injured hamstring revealed that the problem is not serious.

The on-loan Tottenham youngster, who spent most of last season out with a knee injury, went off during Rangers’ recent home defeat against Swansea.

It was initially feared Amos could be sidelined for up to six weeks, but the damage is only minor.

“The scan came back and it looks really positive. I was worried when he first came off,” said QPR manager Mark Warburton.

“With injuries of that nature you worry that it’ll be four to six weeks, but it’s not and hopefully it’ll be a very swift recovery.”
