Paal passed fit for QPR’s Blades trip

Kenneth Paal has been passed fit for QPR’s game at Championship leaders Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Jake Clarke-Salter is also available for the trip to Bramall Lane and Rob Dickie is back in the squad.

Paal and Clarke-Salter both limped off in the 2-1 win at Bristol City on Saturday and Dickie has been sidelined for the past three matches with an ankle injury.

“Kenneth has recovered, Jake has recovered Rob Dickie is back and there are no other issues,” boss Mick Beale said.

“He is tough, is Kenneth. He’s alright. It was just a knock.

“If he was on the other side of the pitch he would have played on, but because he was so close to me I could see from his facial expressions he was struggling a bit.

“And I trust Ozzy (Kakay), and the way the game was going they were loading up a bit against Kenneth and although he was doing fine, why take the risk?

“But I am pleased to say Kenneth has trained today and is fine.”
