Austin and Dunne injured in QPR defeat

Charlie Austin suffered a foot injury against Southampton and QPR fear Richard Dunne could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee problem.

Rangers striker Austin was struggling towards the end of the 1-0 defeat and may have broken a bone in his foot.

Veteran centre-back Dunne limped off with eight minutes remaining and the initial signs suggest his injury could be serious.

Both players are set to undergo scans.
