Rangers boss wants big money for Cesar
QPR manager Harry Redknapp insists the club are not willing to let Julio Cesar go cheaply.
Arsenal have been linked with the Brazil goalkeeper, who was signed from Inter Milan last summer and is expected to move on in the wake of Rangers’ relegation from the Premier League.
But Redknapp says the Gunners, who play his team at Loftus Road on Saturday, would have to be prepared to pay a substantial transfer fee.
Asked about the north London club’s apparent interest in Cesar, Redknapp said: “He wants to go to Arsenal? Arsene Wenger will be here tomorrow and if he’s interested I’m sure he’ll mention it.
“He’s the Brazil goalkeeper and may not want to play in the Championship. I could understand that, but it would have to be a good offer.
“We’ve got to get value for him. He’s a fantastic keeper and it will cost money if someone wants to buy him.”
