QPR confirm Onuoha will leave club

[/media-credit] West London Sport revealed earlier this month that Nedum Onuoha would be leaving QPR

QPR have confirmed that Nedum Onuoha will leave the club at the end of the season.

West London Sport
recently revealed that Jack Robinson and skipper Onuoha are set to follow Jamie Mackie and James Perch out of Loftus Road this summer.

The contracts of all four players expire at the end of the campaign.

Mackie and Perch are not being offered new deals, while Onuoha has indicated he wants to return north.

Robinson is looking to secure a move to a Premier League club rather than extend his stay at Rangers.

Onuoha, 31, was signed from Manchester City in January 2012 and has made 223 appearances for the R’s.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to everybody who has supported both myself and the club throughout my time here,” he told Rangers’ website.

  • Ned has been a rock in our defence he may not offer fancy footwork but his passion & desire for the club is unrivaled
Jack Robinson has finally come through his injuries & has gone from fringe squad to first name on the sheet & has proven his versatility he is far from a one trick pony more of a thoroughbred. I still think we should try to keep Robbo only he can replace Ned in the back line & as skipper
Mackie & perch have served us well but with what we have within our ranks their positions are more than covered for.
