Jumah wins on British pro debut

Deion Jumah won on his British professional debut, beating Colin Farricker on points in a six-round light-heavyweight bout at the Copper Box Arena on the undercard of George Groves’ clash with Andrea Di Luisa.[phone][/phone]

West Londoner Jumah, twice an ABA champion, was fighting on home soil for first time since turning pro – his seven previous fights were in in Germany or Denmark.

He extended his unbeaten record by beating Liverpool’s Farricker, with the referee scoring it 59-56 in his favour.
