Jumah wins on British pro debut

Deion Jumah won on his British professional debut, beating Colin Farricker on points in a six-round light-heavyweight bout at the Copper Box Arena on the undercard of George Groves’ clash with Andrea Di Luisa.

West Londoner Jumah, twice an ABA champion, was fighting on home soil for first time since turning pro – his seven previous fights were in in Germany or Denmark.

He extended his unbeaten record by beating Liverpool’s Farricker, with the referee scoring it 59-56 in his favour.
