Jumah set for British pro debut

Deion Jumah will make his British debut as a professional on Saturday as part of the undercard for George Groves’ fight at the Copper Box Arena.

West Londoner Jumah, 26, will defend his unbeaten record in a six-round light-heavyweight bout against Liverpool’s Colin Farricker.

The two-time ABA champion has racked up seven straight victories in his pro career, all contested in either Germany or Denmark.

But Jumah, trained by Groves’ former coach and manager Adam Booth, is ready to impress fans in his home city.

His last outing was seven weeks ago when he beat Ukraine’s Vasyl Kondor on a unanimous points decision.
