Joe Joyce will fight on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s heavyweight clash with Deontay Wilder in Los Angeles next month.
Putney’s unbeaten heavyweight contender has been sparring with Fury ahead of his fellow Englishman’s world title showdown with Wilder on December 1.
The Olympic silver medallist, 33, will face Joe Hanks in a 10-round bout.
Hanks, 35, has a record of 23-2, with 15 wins by knockout. One of his two losses came against former world title challenger Andy Ruiz Jr.
It will be Joyce’s seventh fight since he turned professional. He has won all his previous six contests by stoppage.
