Ouseph crashes out of Denmark Open

Hounslow badminton star Rajiv Ouseph bowed out in the first round of the men’s singles at the Denmark Open in Odense.

The 25-year-old, who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, was beaten 21-17 21-9 by Daren Liew of Malaysia.

Ouseph started well and led 8-5 in the first game, only for his opponent to then take control of the match.

Liew also defeated Ouseph at this year’s All England Championships in their only previous meeting.
