Wealdstone star signs new contract

Wealdstone midfielder Alex Dyer has signed a new contract with the club.

The Montserrat international, 21, joined the Stones after being released by Northampton last year, and his performances have attracted the attention of a number of clubs.

Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett said: “I am delighted that Alex has committed himself to us after lots of interest from professional clubs.

“He could well be another to go on to bigger and better things and we want to help him fulfil his ambition to become a full-time player.”
