Popular midfielder Chris O’Leary has returned to Wealdstone – 11 days after leaving to join St Albans City.
O’Leary has made 211 appearances for the Stones but opted to look elsewhere after struggling to regain his place in the side after an injury lay-off.
However, the former Uxbridge player is back at St George’s Stadium and will be in Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett’s squad for Tuesday’s Middlesex Cup match at Staines.
“I didn’t want him to leave in the first place so I’m delighted he has made the decision to rejoin our ranks as we go into a very important stage of the season,” said Bartlett.
Earlier on Monday, Danny Spendlove left Wealdstone after three years at the club and signed for Canvey Island.
