Wealdstone clinch the signing of Martin
Wealdstone have signed midfielder Adam Martin.
The 24-year-old, who can play in the middle or on either flank, was on Watford’s books as a youngster.
Since then he has been with Berkhamsted Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, St Albans City, Slough Town and Irish club Bohemians, where he featured – and scored – in the Europa League.
Stones boss Gordon Bartlett explained: “They say patience is a virtue and I am delighted Adam has decided to sign.
“It has taken me six years to sign him after he made his debut as a youngster against Watford in a pre-season game before deciding to go to Hemel.
“He is 6ft-plus with a good engine and he adds further flexibility to the squad because he is comfortable in either a holding or attacking midfield role.”
