Wealdstone clinch midfielder signing

Wealdstone have signed midfielder Tom Pett from Ryman Division One North outfit Potters Bar Town.

The 20-year-old was Town’s captain and has been a key player for them during the last two seasons, scoring 12 goals in 28 appearances this term.

Pett, who had two trials at Brighton last year, is expected to make his Stones debut in Saturday’s match against title chasers Lowestoft Town.
