United manager will stay on

Hayes & Yeading United have confirmed that Nas Bashir is to stay on as manager despite their relegation to the Conference South.

The 42-year-old admitted last week he was keeping his options open until he had met with the club’s hierarchy.

However, Bashir and his assistant Tristan Lewis have now agreed to remain at the helm.

A club spokesperson said: “Following a review of the current season between first-team manager Nas Bashir and the board, all parties are in agreement that Nas is the man to lead Hayes & Yeading United’s challenge for a swift return to the Blue Square Bet Premier.”
