Hayes and Yeading United have signed Southend striker Isaac Layne on loan until the end of December.
The 19-year-old clinched a move to the Shrimpers in the summer after catching the eye while playing against them in a pre-season friendly for Billericay.
He scored 11 goals for the Ryman League side last season and also had a trial with Charlton.
Layne is yet to make his first-team debut for Southend, but has twice been an unused substitute in League Two.
