Local businessman joins Stones board

Local businessman Mick Williamson has joined the Wealdstone board of directors.

Williamson was behind the construction of the new ‘Couch Corner’ stand at the Ruislip-based club’s ground, The Vale.

“I am pleased to join the club and will strive to make The Vale a better place for everyone to enjoy and make it continue to be successful both on and off the pitch,” he said.

Wealdstone chairman Howard Krais said “We are delighted to welcome Mick onto the board.

“We are always looking to improve how we operate and Mick’s business experience brings further professionalism to the team.

“In particular, Mick will take on an important role further bringing together the football club and the Ruislip Social Club, ensuring we make the right decisions about where to focus and invest across the wider club.”
