Lewis to be replaced as Hayes & Yeading manager

Tristan Lewis will be replaced as Hayes & Yeading United manager but will remain as director of football.

Lewis has been performing both roles since last season and is also in charge of the youth team.

The club say a new manager has been identified and will be announced in the coming days.

United are fourth from bottom of National League South, having won just two of their 11 matches this season.

In a statement, the club said: “With the addition of all our academy teams and the increasing desire to develop players from the academy through to the first team, the direction and management of the infrastructure of the club’s football foundations has taken on an increased importance.

“With all of the aforementioned in mind, Tristan Lewis will move from the role of first-team manager and director of football, roles which he has combined since steering the club to league safety last season, solely to the position of director of football.”
