Hayes & Yeading sign Bournemouth duo

Hayes & Yeading United have signed striker Brandon Goodship and defender Samir Bihmoutine on month-long loan deals from AFC Bournemouth.

The pair, highly-rated by Cherries boss Eddie Howe, will add depth to the United squad as they prepare for a run of nine games in the next four weeks.

United boss Phil Babb is also hoping to sign another striker as he bids to arrest a run of seven straight defeats.

Goodship, 19, scored four goals in 13 appearances while on loan at United’s Conference South rivals Dorchester earlier in the season, including the winner at Sutton in November.

Left-back Bihmoutine, 20, came through the Arsenal academy and last season featured in the Uefa NextGen Series, the youth team version of the Champions League.

The London-born defender, with Moroccan heritage, was released by the Gunners in the summer and had trials with Wolves, Northampton and Tranmere in pre-season before being picked up by Bournemouth.

United boss Phil Babb told West London Sport: “Eddie Howe thinks very highly of them both.

“Brandon scored goals in a struggling Dorchester side and he’ll be wanting to prove to Eddie that he should be involved in Bournemouth’s first team, and Samir is a very athletic defender.”
