Stones sign former United star Cadmore

Wealdstone have completed the signing of former Hayes & Yeading United defender Tom Cadmore.

The 27-year-old centre-back joins from National League South rivals Whitehawk, having helped them to the play-off final last season.

Cadmore spent almost five years at Hayes & Yeading, playing in their first competitive match in 2007, and went on to make almost 250 appearances.

The former Wycombe man and England C international was United’s player of the season as they won promotion to the Conference Premier in 2009 and stayed with the club even after their relegation.

Cadmore is the seventh signing made by the Stone this summer, after Potters Bar striker Josh Hutchinson, Sutton winger Dale Binns, Met Police forward Bradley Hudson-Odoi, versatile Harlow player Josh Urquhart, Hanwell Town defender Oliver Duffy and Boreham Wood midfielder Ryan Hope.
