Charlton youngster joins United on loan

Midfielder Freddie Warren has joined Hayes & Yeading United on loan from League One leaders Charlton.

The 19-year-old has only recently returned to The Valley after a similar spell at Conference South side Bromley and earlier in the season was part of the Kettering team that was beaten 5-3 by Hayes & Yeading in September.

Warren, a distant relative of former England boss Terry Venables, is yet to make a first-team start for Charlton but was on the bench for their Carling Cup ties against Reading and Preston.

He will go into the squad for United’s match at Bath City on Tuesday.
