Sharma signs new Middlesex contract
Pace bowler Naavya Sharma has signed a new contract with Middlesex.
The Isleworth-born 20-year-old, who has made 11 first-team appearances, is now under contract until the end of the 2027 season.
A product of Middlesex’s academy, Sharma featured in both the Rothesay County Championship and Vitality Blast during 2025.
“I’m delighted to have signed this extension and excited to keep building on last year’s progress, both individually and as a team,” he said.
“I would like to thank everyone for their continued trust and support.”
Middlesex’s director of cricket Alan Coleman said: “We are delighted to have Naavya with us for another two summers, having shown so much potential during his first year as a professional cricketer.
“With both the red and white ball he has proven that he can make an impact and we are looking forward to seeing what he can produce in the years ahead.”
