Robson agrees new Middlesex contract
Sam Robson has agreed an extension to his Middlesex contract.
The promising Australian batsman has signed a new deal that will keep him at the Lord’s-based club until at least the end of December 2014.
Robson made his Middlesex as a 19-year-old in 2009 and has a batting average approaching 40.
“We are delighted that Sam has agreed to sign a contract extension,” said Middlesex’s managing director of cricket Angus Fraser.
“Sam has made real progress and we believe he has a long and bright future with Middlesex.
“Sam is one of a group of young cricketers to have committed himself to Middlesex and we hope these players continue to take the club in the right direction.”
