Harry Podmore has left Middlesex to join Division Two rivals Kent.
The 23-year-old bowler found opportunities hard to come by at Lord’s, but gained first-class experience during loan spells with Glamorgan and Derbyshire.
Podmore has taken 31 wickets in 12 first-class appearances and has also played 26 limited-overs matches.
“I’m delighted to join Kent and I’m looking forward to the opportunity,” he told Kent’s website.
“I made my first-class debut at the Spitfire Ground and I can’t wait to get to work with Matt Walker, Allan Donald and an exciting squad hungry for success.”
