Middlesex seal emphatic victory at Lord’s
Middlesex 168 & 147-4 beat Durham 143 & 171 by six wickets

Eoin Morgan hit an unbeaten 39 to complete Middlesex’s three-day trouncing of Durham at Lord’s.
The hosts needed only 44 runs with eight wickets still intact at the start of the day but suffered an early setback when Adam Voges was removed in the third over.
With only one run required for victory, skipper Neil Dexter fell for 25, leaving John Simpson to score the winning run.
The result takes Middlesex above Durham and into third place.
Their win looked certain after they trampled through the visitors’ batting line-up on both Friday and Saturday.
Durham struggled – not least because of the fine bowling of Steven Finn, Ollie Rayner and Tim Murtagh – and managed to post only 171 before Middlesex ended day two on 103-2, leaving them with a straightforward task on Sunday.
