Finn return could see injured Harris rested
James Harris could miss Middlesex’s County Championship match with Derbyshire at Lord’s which starts on Wednesday.
The new signing tweaked a hamstring in the field on the first day of the season at Nottinghamshire and did not bowl during the second innings.
England paceman Steven Finn has already been made available by the ECB for Middlesex’s next two County Championship matches, which would allow Harris to rest his injury.
Should the 22-year-old miss the Derbyshire match, his Lord’s debut will have to wait until the clash with Surrey starting on 2 May.
Finn’s availability will come as a big boost as Middlesex have been denied his services since the Championship match at Durham last July.
