London Irish describe Wasps merger reports as ‘total and utter speculation’
London Irish have described reports of a potential merger with Wasps as “total and utter speculation”.
It comes after Wasps were suspended from the Premiership after announcing the club was set to go into administration.
Reports have suggested that a merger between the Exiles and Wasps has since been explored.
London Irish’s principal shareholder Mick Crossan recently said he would be prepared to make way for new owners.
