Wilson is Fulham’s latest injury worry

Harry Wilson is Fulham’s latest injury worry.

The Welshman has missed training this week and is a doubt for Saturday’s game at Newcastle.

Joachim Andersen, Antonee Robsinon, Samuel Chukwueze and Rodrigo Muniz will all miss the trip to the north east.

Wilson played 82 minutes against Arsenal but, having picked up a knock while on international duty with Wales a couple of weeks ago, the winger has suffered a setback.

Boss Marco Silva explained: “Just a doubt about Harry Wilson, as he got a knock on the national team, a small issue. He made the effort to play against Arsenal.

“Let’s see if he’s going to be ready or not. Yesterday, he was not in condition (to train). Today (Thursday) he didn’t run as well.

“Let’s see tomorrow if he’s going to react. Nothing really serious but let’s see how he’s going to feel tomorrow and after that we’re going to make a decision about it.”

Silva added:  “Joachim Andersen, as we expected,  a muscle injury – not so serious but, this match, he’s going to be out, he’s not going to be available for the Newcastle match. Antonee Robinson neither as well.”

But Sasa Lukic is in contention, having missed the defeat by Arsenal after picking up an injury against Bournemouth.

Kenny Tete, meanwhile, now appears to be fully fit following his recent lay-off.

“Kenny was already involved in the last game, not 100% but was already on the bench. He has had a good week so far and he’s going to be in good condition for the game,” said Silva.

“Sasa Lukic is in contention, and all the others are still the same; Chukwueze is still out, Rodrigo Muniz is still out, all the others nothing really new.”
