Victory boosts Fulham’s play-off hopes

Goals from Stefan Johansen and Scott Malone took Fulham to within three points of the play-off places.
Johansen put the Whites ahead with a shot from near the edge of the penalty area four minutes into the second half – his eighth goal of the season.
It came after a frustrating first half for Fulham, but their patience was rewarded and they almost doubled their lead when Sone Aluko fired narrowly over.
They eventually got the second goal with 19 minutes remaining.
Malone looked set to deliver a cross but instead slammed the ball into the net from a tight angle, and there was no way back for Nigel Clough’s side.
Lucas Piazon and Tom Cairney went close to adding a third as Fulham finished the match well on top.
